Longtime friends, Carolane Bovigny & Alina Vuataz share a passion and a dream: a passion for horses and American riding in all its many and varied disciplines; their dream: to revive reining in Switzerland. They both particularly enjoy working with cattle in ranch sorting, working cow horse, cutting, etc., as well as the more precise dressage work found in ranch riding or reining.

Carolane, president of the recently created "RLW EVENT" association at the Little Wood Ranch in Formangueires (FR), which she owns, and Alina, president of the "Green Valley Western Riding" association, based in Tramelan, have been organizing friendly reining competitions for several years. They take place during events organized through their respective associations.
In 2024, they joined forces to bring to life a competition called FIFTY/FIFTY: 2 friends, 2 presidents, 2 associations, 2 cantons, 2 disciplines who unite for one day under the colors of America.

Participating in all these friendly competitions in 2024, they had the idea of creating a tournament that would bring together all these friendly reining competitions and reward the best riders. Once said and done, and since they never do anything by halves, the new association "Swiss Reining Tour" was born in 2025.

Nora Tedeschi, Vice President and Treasurer of the Green Valley Association, quickly joined them to take on the role of Treasurer within the SRT.

For these three friends, these are just titles, because all three are full of ideas and motivation, they are resourceful, and they are very united. It is thanks to their excellent collaboration that they do everything they can to offer you a quality championship.
